NSW citizens are unable to sign-up their vehicles or renew their licences thanks to “technical issues” with the IT units guiding Service NSW’s street products and services.
The central service supply company acknowledged the challenges in a tweet just immediately after nine:30am AEDT on Monday early morning.
“Due to a technical concern, many Transportation for NSW (formerly RMS [Roadways and Maritime Providers]) transactions have been impacted,” Service NSW said.
“We are operating to solve this as quickly as feasible and apologise for any inconvenience.”
A spokesperson explained to iTnews the “temporary outages with a selection of Transportation for NSW (formerly RMS) transactions” prolonged to “registration renewals, driver tests, licence renewal and e-toll”.
“All other products and services are processing as normal (other than for a smaller selection of website closures thanks to the intense weather over the weekend),” the spokesperson said.
The spokesperson would not element the trigger of the outage.
