Visiting the City That Built the Hanford Nuclear Site

As my aircraft ways the Tri-Cities Airport in south-central Washington point out, the sandy expanse outside my window offers way to hundreds of bright environmentally friendly circles and squares. From this semi-arid terrain springs an irrigated oasis of potatoes, hops, peaches, and sweet corn. Just outside of our perspective is a single of the most contaminated destinations in the globe: the Hanford Internet site, home to 177 getting old tanks of radioactive waste.
